British Rail Bournemouth Blue Moquette Fabric Sold by the Metre

Waterloo to… you guessed it, Bournemouth… from the mid-60s, and that’s curiously how it got its name. The design remained in use on trains until 1988, when a different blue moquette, Blue Blaze, was rolled out. Unlike many moquettes, it’s geometric, ordered and has no garish colours, so it’s hugely popular and will look great in your home too.

Top tip: Moquette looks great when mounted and framed too.
